Generate rent receipts for your HRA claim — monthly, quarterly or a single receipt — with landlord PAN, revenue-stamp note and signature. Download a PDF. Nothing is uploaded.
To make rent receipts for HRA, enter your name, your landlord's name and PAN, the rented address, the monthly rent and the period. The tool builds a receipt for every month (or quarter, or one consolidated receipt), writes the amount in words, adds a revenue-stamp note for large cash payments, and lets you download everything as a PDF. It is free, needs no signup, and runs entirely in your browser: nothing is uploaded.
A rent receipt is proof that you paid rent to your landlord. Salaried employees use rent receipts to claim House Rent Allowance (HRA) exemption from their employer and while filing income tax. Employers usually ask for receipts for the months you are claiming, and if your annual rent is above ₹1,00,000 you must also provide your landlord's PAN.
Two rules matter. First, if your total rent for the year is more than ₹1,00,000, the landlord's PAN is required — the tool warns you when you cross this limit. Second, a ₹1 revenue stamp is generally needed when a single cash payment exceeds ₹5,000; the tool adds a revenue-stamp box automatically for such cash receipts. Cheque and bank transfers do not need a stamp.
There is no server. The receipts are built in your browser, so your and your landlord's personal details are never uploaded to Intech Global Solutions or anyone else.
